How to Request an Add Code

When you enroll for classes using Reg-e, you can put yourself on the wait list for classes that are closed. This is the best way to get into a closed class.

Reg-e is a part of the Student Web Services at the San Diego Community College District web site.

When there is an opening in my class, the system will automatically select the next student from the wait list. You will have three days to respond before the system drops you from the wait list and selects the next person. This continues until the first day of the semester.

After Sunday, August 24, you can request an add code by emailing me at rpelleti@sdccd.edu and requesting one. I will only add students up to the official class capacity.

I cannot give out add codes until I know for sure how many students will not be showing up. I will have a good idea around Friday, August 29, then I will send email to students from the waitlist with an add code.

There are usually seats available in my Friday class (CRN 62179). Since it is a hybrid class, I can make classroom attendance optional. Let me know if you are interested—I can usually give add codes for this class right away after Sunday, August 24.
